Membership

Edge Fund is a membership-led organisation, not a foundation. Our grantees become members automatically. As such they are decision-makers on how new funds are distributed.

If your group is an Edge Fund grantee you are then a member. Get in touch with us directly at [email protected] if you are not hearing from us directly!

What being a members means:

As a member you will have the opportunity to be involved in influencing the direction of the organisation

  • Core Group

Members who support Edge's Staff with the day to day and do admin work like preparing agendas and proposals for meetings.

  • Influencing Funders

Members who collaborate with Edge's Staff and Core Group to encourage and support more democratic, accountable and transparent processes from other funding bodies.

  • Other Groups

Members who get together to promote and implement specific initiatives, such as our Radical Sharing Forum or other events.

Community Committees

Our funding process is shaped Community Committees organised according to our member's experience in campaigning as migrants, radicalised minorities, women and oppressed genders, LGBTQI people, low income and working class backgrounds, people with a disability. Through CCs grassroots campaigners assess grant applications and decide how to redistribute funds to support other radical organisations pursuing systemic change.
