The Roots Fund
(Funding Round 17): September-December 2025
In the context of the racist riots of 2024, the rise of organised far-right power in 2025 as well as the continuation of colonial violence in Congo, Sudan and Palestine-Β the Roots Fund was opened. The Roots Fund (Funding round 17) was a Β£40K pot to support and resource grassroots groups for racial justice, against Islamophobia and those organising against UK colonial violence and legacy.
We received 100 applications of incredible groups and organisation doing anti-militarist work, direct action against detention centres, muslim youth-led organising and many more.
